E-export support status for digital marketplace platforms.
What is Marketplace Status?
Marketplace status is the beneficiary status granted to digital platforms that have their place of business in Turkey and facilitate the sale of Turkish-origin products abroad.
Applications are made to the E-Export Secretariat with the EK-Marketplace Application Form and attached information/documents. Applications deemed suitable following Secretariat review are included in the support scope with General Directorate approval.
Application Conditions
Place of Business in Turkey
The marketplace's place of business must be in Turkey.
Activity Duration
Must have been operational in the last two calendar years as of the application date.
Security and Infrastructure
The sales platform must demonstrate that it meets minimum security requirements for consumers; through trust seal, internationally valid certificate or documents from an international e-commerce infrastructure service provider showing that the services specified in the application form have been received.
Order Fulfillment and Operations
The marketplace must have an order fulfillment station or a business partnership for this service.
Payment and Logistics Integration
The platform must have payment system and logistics integrations.
Platform Scale
The platform must have at least 1,000 service providers and at least 100,000 products actively listed.
Minimum Export Performance
As of the application date, the export amount in GB for the previous calendar year and/or the total export amount declared as e-commerce in BGB must be at least 2,000,000 US dollars. If this amount cannot be met, the net sales amount for the previous calendar year must be at least 2,000,000,000 TL according to ETBIS records.
